Meet The Team
After graduating from the University of Florida, Curt began his career working in the sports industry. Entertainment, special events and promotions were his focus while working in the front office of the Tampa Bay Rays, Portland Beavers, and Frisco Roughriders. Curt then moved to San Diego where he started sharpening his corporate event skills for a Destination Management Company. After four years, Curt decided it was time to launch Fuse Events. He feels the greatest joys of owning his own business are the relationships he’s built with his clients and seeing the results from putting in those long hours. Curt enjoys driving, boating, and traveling, cooking things in crock pots, cold pizza and of course spending time with his family, wife Jamie, daughter Ella, son Cal, and a slightly overweight dog named Rookie.
Charlie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management from Central Michigan University. Charlie has various experience in the event industry. She completed an internship with the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, MI, then after started her working career as a Corporate Event Coordinator for a large Convention Center in Detroit. A few years later she moved to Sunny San Diego to escape the bitter Michigan winters. Charlie is passionate about creating a great event environment and exceeding the guest’s expectations. Working in the restaurant industry through her college years helped her gain exceptional customer service skills and taught her the importance of guest relation. When she’s not working, Charlie enjoys spending time at the beach, checking out the newest eateries, and hiking all of what Southern California has to offer!
