Meet The Team
After graduating from the University of Florida, Curt began his career working in the sports industry. Entertainment, special events and promotions were his focus while working in the front office of the Tampa Bay Rays, Portland Beavers, and Frisco Roughriders. Curt then moved to San Diego where he started sharpening his corporate event skills for a Destination Management Company. After four years, Curt decided it was time to launch Fuse Events. He feels the greatest joys of owning his own business are the relationships he’s built with his clients and seeing the results from putting in those long hours. Curt enjoys driving, boating, and traveling, cooking things in crock pots, cold pizza and of course spending time with his family, wife Jamie, daughter Ella, son Cal, and a slightly overweight dog named Rookie.
Taylor graduated from UC Davis in Northern California and fell in love with the events industry during her time there. While working at the UC Davis Conference Center, she learned the ins and outs of events and decided to pursue them as a career. After completing an internship with Sacramento’s number one wedding and event coordinator, she started full time and loved interacting with clients, as well as designing their dream day. During this position, her eye for design grew immensely and is now one of her favorite parts of any event. When her and her husband moved to San Diego, Fuse Events was the perfect fit and she now enjoys managing every little detail for her clients. When she’s not working, Taylor and her husband enjoy taking their mischievous goldendoodle exploring around San Diego, as well as spending way too much money on all the amazing food San Diego has to offer!
