​Prepare for the tastiest event of the year! The Taste of Third gives restaurants & bars along Third Ave and surrounding areas the opportunity to participate in a dining-centric promotion event.​

​Benefits to Your Business:

  • Attract new customers to your restaurant 

  • Encourage repeat patronage

  • Provide an opportunity for you to build contact lists

  • Emphasize the unique dining destination that is Downtown Chula Vista

  • Take part in fundraising to support the many neighborhood improvement projects of the Downtown Chula Vista Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

 

Promotional benefits include TV news media, monthly newsletters, listing on the Taste of Third website, inclusion on Downtown Chula Vista Association social media posts and on poster.​​

How it works:

Fuse Events is the official event organizer. Attendees purchase tickets for a flat fee on the event website. On the day of the event, they head to the check-in area at Memorial Park where they receive their Taste Passport, then stroll from business to business to experience the ambiance of each unique establishment.

There is NO CHARGE for businesses, just provide the tastes, physical space to serve, and staff.  

 

Restaurant/ Bar Provides:

  • 750 “tastes” of your menu item(s)

  • Adequate area to accommodate a large number of “tasters” to pick up samples

  • Ample staff to check off passports and provide ready access to samples

  • Coupons to encourage repeat patronage (optional)

 

Organizers (Fuse Events) will provide:

  • Full coordination of all aspects of the event

  • 2 complimentary tickets to each participating restaurant (you MUST request this in advance)

  • Disposable serving dishes, napkins, and utensils

  • Coordination with Olive PR for exposure to all major media outlets

  • Event posters 

  • Hyperlinked website listing for each participating restaurant

  • Restaurant’s name, location and taste listing on passport/map

Submit by January 2nd for website listing. Final print deadline is March 5th.
